Welcome, parents and families, to Parent Orientation. 

糖心原创 offers an in-depth introduction to community resources that will be invaluable to new parents and guardians. Key elements of Parent Orientation include information sessions, multiple meals--including a major celebratory BBQ--and a deeply meaningful Service of Commitment. You want want to miss it!

Move-in day tips

  • If you have not received an email from the Parents Relations Office, please email parents@westmont.edu to update your contact information.
  • Encourage your student to review their Student Roadmap progress for financial aid, bills and more. my.westmont.edu/s/new-students 
  • Check your student鈥檚 financial aid status
  • Pay your first bill
  • Encourage your student to sign up for the New Student Beach Day.

  • Enrolling in college is an exciting time for your family, but it also raises a lot of questions. That鈥檚 why we invite you to attend Parent Orientation!
  • At our Parent Orientation you鈥檒l learn about the various aspects of the college鈥檚 academic, residential, and student life programs.
  • You鈥檒l meet President Gayle D. Beebe, faculty, administrative staff, other parents and students.
  • You鈥檒l receive information tailored just for you and gain a deeper sense of sharing in your student鈥檚 college life.

  • Blankets, pillows and extra-long twin sheets (36 x 80 in)

  • Small basket for carrying personal bathroom supplies

You can begin shipping packages to Westmont's Mail Center on August 15. You can find instructions on how to address packages and mail on their webpage.
